Please advice on Online Chats

My husband has this penchant on chatting online. I work as a nurse and most of my shift is graveyard. So if I am not home he spends most of his time in his computer chatting the night away. He said instead of going out with his friends and drinking, he'd rather stay home and do this chatting thing. But I found out that most of his chat mates are females. I am not comfortable about this and confronted him. He said its harmless since he never meets them personally. Is this still a form of cheating? How should I stop this?

for me it is still a form of cheating, he is a married man and he should not be chatting or flirting with girls even if he never meets them personally. Tell him how you feel about that.

I agree. To spend all evening chatting to females is a bit suspect. If one is discussing legitimate subjects and they happen to be women sometimes is probably okay but to make a bee-line for women in a kind of flirty way when you are married is very questionable. I think you need to talk more about this and try to find out the nature of these discussions.

Honestly, I feel like he's not being honest with me any longer. I'm glad that I have my friends and this frequent visit to forums to ease my sadness. My friends told me that I may be depressed and they suggested to look for information about this. I encountered this article https://www.betterhelp.com/advice/ge...nap-out-of-it/ and I think it's hitting the spot.

It's good that you surround yourself with friends and family to avoid being depressed.
