Moving out

Hi guys just wanted to put this out on here see what everyone thinks

My wife and i had a huge fight 3 days ago and she has now told me she wants me to move out within a week . I dont work due to illness but i am looking to get back into work i have no money to my name and the council have told me i am entitiled to a room or one bed flat private rent and they will cover costs good thing really.
I have alway worked and supported my family for 9 years both financialy and mentally she does not work as she cant work due to illness.
I lost my job due to somethink i did and went to court and i was looking at 3-7 years in jail but the judge took pity on my circumstances and gave me 150 hours community service which i am very gratful for and was looking forward to moving on with my life with family this is be hanging over our head since christmas.
So is now saying i have till friday or she going to police to make me move which i thin is very unfair i have no money but i will be geeting money in a few weeks then i said i will move as i have no money to my name i dopnt have any family or many friends due to this split most our taking her side.
She says im being unresponable not going today but i dont have anywhere to go i only asking for a few weeks not making myself homeless to please my wife.
Due you think im being unresnable and if she goes to court to get me out how long will it take to get me removed just want a few weeks to get myself set really.Im looking for flats and rooms would prefer a flat so i can see my 3 children at the weekend but dont think i can afford it to be honest.
Its a real shame that everythink has been sorted out court case related and now its all come to this i was expecting to go to jail so was my wife i think can help this has been planned all along.

Thanks for any advice

I'd stay where you are until you are ready to move. The police will not turn you out in the street whilst you are trying to arrange alternative accommodation. What would be the grounds? It would have to be through the courts. They could arrest you if you are trying to murder her of course. I would stick to your rights until you are ready to go.

Whose house is it you live in? Is is in joint names? if so I would stay put. If she wants to split then let her leave. I would go to the citizens advise bureau and get legal advise. The police will not be interested unless you have been beating her.

In the US, the police wouldn't do a thing unless you were doing something illegal. This is a civil matter, not criminal. Tell her if she wants space so bad, she move.

Same in the uk, but of course people can make things up to the police.
