Post Weddings and family traditions

Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue….. Do you have any family traditions for weddings. Decorating the car for bride and groom? A family heirloom worn by the bride??

Re: Weddings and family traditions

Many families have wedding traditions that are unique to their family, such as a bride wearing an heirloom wedding veil or other wedding accessory. This can help bring a family together and remind them that they the family bond won't be diminished in marriage.

Re: Weddings and family traditions

in some families, mothers see to it that their wedding gowns are used by their daughters during their own weddings. in societies where the family is of utmost importance, all members of the family, including aunts and uncles, attend the wedding of a family member. this calls for a very big celebration, indeed, especially during the reception.
